PiPaPo Jaya ( Pilah samPah dan mengomPos warga Duren Jaya)

PiPaPo Jaya is a waste sorting and composting initiative focusing on RT.04 RW.12 in Duren Jaya, Bekasi. The project was initiated in response to uncollected waste in the area, which resulted in garbage piling up in open spaces. Seeing this issue, Erlyna took the initiative to educate and assist residents in sorting their waste and composting organic waste at home.

Key Achievements

• Residents participated in hands-on composting sessions, learning to create and maintain their own composting systems at home.
• Some households have started implementing waste sorting and composting, reducing the amount of organic waste in the neighborhood.
• The project has successfully engaged both men and women, with the involvement of husbands making composting more appealing to a broader audience.
