Simple Module and Action to Reduce Organic Trash (SMART)

SMART is a hands-on mentoring program that educates and supports beginners in composting. It targets men and women aged 30-45 in Rempoa, Bintaro, South Jakarta. The program provides free training to help residents manage organic waste at home, reducing the amount of waste sent to landfills.

• Around 25% of participants continued composting after completing the training.
• Residents actively discussed composting in community gatherings, making it a common household topic.
• Participants received continuous support through WhatsApp groups and personalized mentoring sessions.
