The project "Pengelolaan Sampah Organik dan Pembuatan Kebun Sayur sebagai Bentuk Circular Entrepreneurship di BumDes Serdang Tirta Kencana," initiated by Putu Yani Pratiwi, is an extension of the 2023 Community Service Program (PKM) by the Multimedia Nusantara University team. This initiative aims to manage organic waste by converting it into compost and using the compost to cultivate a community vegetable garden, where the produce is consumed by the local residents.

Project Objectives

Key Achievements

• Residents have shifted from burning waste to segregating and recycling it.
• Formation of a management team for the waste bank, consisting of local women, which operates independently.
• Reduction in carbon dioxide emissions from burned waste and increased green cover from the community garden.
